In this week’s edition of Current Distractions I’m looking at the darker side of art, advertising and animals, starting with the dark brilliance of Jeremy Enecio who demonstrates what not to do when cuddling a baboon.
If that’s too much for you on a thursday evening, why not cool off with these Disney films reimagined with Grumpy Cat in their leading roles by deviant artist TsaoShin.
Now that most homes shelter a glowing digital TV, it’s easier to avoid the plethora of corporate snippets reminding us we can have our names on bottles or that ‘living’ consists of twilight vesper piggy backs and bare foot beach giggles. However, there’s still a few creative minds out there and here’s a few adverts that shouldn’t be skipped, including a couple from the amazing Tom Kuntz.
Finally, if you think your violin is awesome, think again. Does yours have a devil head attached that shoots sparks when you play? Does it? Didn’t think so.
